Right before the end of the year my sister sent me an article to improve our photography skills. My first thought was to say no. Instead I said, “sure”.  It can’t be that hard to take a photo everyday.

Now we are 11 days into the challenge and it only took until the second day for me to realize that I don’t just take photos. I mean I take them. It’s usually because I was sent on an assignment.

Having to come up with my own idea for a subject is harder than I thought. I might be thinking about it too hard. 11 days into this challenge and looking forward I have a long way to go. But, when I look back to when I started taking photos in 2012 it feels like I haven’t had enough time at all.

This year feels like it’ll be long but my goal is that by day 365 my perspective and skills will improve ten-fold.
