Kat Molloy, exercise physiology senior, celebrates with her teammates after winning a point in a loss to Arkansas Tech, 3-2, Saturday afternoon at D.L. Ligon Coliseum during the MSU Hampton Inn-vitational. Arkansas Tech handed the team its only loss and MSU went 3-1 overall at the tournament. The first Lone Star Conference game is against Tarleton State University the Friday at 5p.m. at D.L. Ligon Coliseum. Shatoia Gober dibbles past an A&M-Commerce defender Feb. 8 at D. L. Ligon Colisuem. MSU defeated Texas A&M-Commerce 100-67.. Kirsti Degelia, senior in math, had a season high of 25 points. Andrea Carter, junior in math, had 19 points and nine rebounds and Shatoia Gober, junior in kinesiology, finished with her second double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. The mustangs take on #5 West Texas A&M Wednesday at home.

DeJuan Plummer, senior in general studies, makes the lay-up in the home game Saturday night where MSU defeated Texas A&M-Commerce 75-63. They will be taking on West Texas A&M Wednesday at home. Eddie D'Haiti, senior in mass communication, shot a career high 18 points. Monzaigo Williams, senior in social work, had 18 points and nine assists.
